Projects clean air technology

One of our special projects is the de-dusting of a 370-tonne RH-duplex and a Twin-LF plant from SMS Mevac produced for MMK.

Münstermann has designed, developed and marketed several de-dusting plants since its takeover of the company Lüscher Filterbau in 2002. Then again Lüscher had its origins from one of the pioneers of de-dusting technology, Standard Filterbau. Altogether we can therefore look back on 30-years experience in de-dusting technology. It is no wonder therefore that we are sometimes positively caught up by the past.

At our customer Enerco's location in the harbour of Amsterdam coal from all over the world is refined. The coal is stored for a certain time and then processed. During the drying process in a drum dryer a high percentage of dust arises. The 22-year-old filter, which was used for the dedusting, was exchanged for a new, modern unit from us.

One of the first versions of the new MSK Filters series was taken into operation by our customer Carriere de Sous-Vent SA in Switzerland. The new MSK-Filter replaces an old Standard Filterbau system and was previously supplied by our Swiss sales partner Lüscher Industrieanlagen AG.

The stone crushing company Clemens of Gummersbach is beautifully situated. Münstermann designed and developed and took into operation a dedusting unit for lime stone dust at this location.

Münstermann-Filtration designs, develops and produces de-dusting unit for mobile stone crushers. An excellent example of an especially adapted solution was delivered to our customer Gasperini in Switzerland (See the illustration on the right; please click on the thumbnail for a large image).

Münstermann’s de-dusting units possess not only qualitatively high standards but are also sometimes installed at dizzy heights. You can also describe the task similarly one way or the other, which emerged as the de-dusting of a 70 metre clinker tower silo equipped with two bucket conveyors for the company Vigier.

VSK32 and also VK32 filters were designed, developed and produced by the company Standard Fiterbau of Münster in the 1970s. Due to the demand Münstermann offers a simple conversion of these units with vibro-de-dusting systems to compressed air de-dusting (pulse jet) by using the new Münstermann filter heads.

Air cleaning and de-dusting is becoming more and more important in the Arab world. In the past few years Münstermann has been able to deliver over 30 units for different uses to the United Arab Emirates.

After the Allgaier Werke had already put its trust in Münstermann for its drying drums for de-dusting purposes the new pilot plant filter has now been delivered.

Our latest development for Portland Zementwerke Gebr. Seibel GmbH & Co KG in the field of de-dusting and filtering engineering concerns a de-dusting solution for clinker coolers. The unit is designed to cope with an air volume amounting to 280,000m³/hour. It consists of a tube filter unit of Type SK60/4-XXIV with paired tubes each with 12 chambers. This has been a real challenge for the assembly team as the unit is over 20 metres in height.

As well as the well-tried and trusted tube filters further de-dusting solutions are offered with the so-called bag pocket filters. These filters are particularly interesting when small and compact solutions are required.
