Three identical preheating ovens for the steel rolls were produced and supplied to Wicke GmbH & Co KG.
The special thing about this oven is that in each case three chambers are integrated in one oven. Each chamber can be controlled separately. The individual chambers are fitted with rolling doors and are very simply loaded as the floor level is almost at ground level.
In the ovens the steel, cast steel or aluminium rolls are heated to approx. 140°C. The individual rolls are placed in moulds and are coated with different materials (e.g. polyurethane). Typical applications for the rolls produced are wheels for lawn mowers or for swivel or fixed castors.
