Projects clean air technology

A cement production project involves the dedusting of a clay stone silo via a bag filter with compressed air cleaning. The clay is crushed in a heated crusher and then thrown over the bucket elevator and a belt into a silo.

Heating and insulation

The heating of the crusher heats up the clay and creates damp, clay-laden air (damp swaths), which must be extracted. To avoid condensation and caking in the pipes and on the inner wall of the filter, the intake air is added to the hot air extraction point at approx. 100 °C via a heating register.

In addition, the filter funnel with rotary valve is heated, and both the raw and clean gas pipe and the entire filter, the filter funnel, the rotary valve and the fan isolated.
