Münstermann has supplied various filter systems for a customer in the chemical industry (plastics production) in the past few years.
All filters have been dimensioned for throughputs of 10,000 to 50,000 m3/h. Various extraction points are de-dusted at which rubber dust and zinc stearate dust occurs. All filter units are designed in the ATEX version for the Ex-zones 21 and 22. Along with the relief of pressure by means of burst discs in the filter housings explosion diverters and non-return valves are employed. The filters are produced in the SK36-version each with 4.5 metres of piping.
The final expansion stage has been planned and installed together with the Engineering Office I & H Franke.
