The assembly of a de-dusting unit for the filtration of different workplaces at Stadler Stahlguss AG in Biel, Switzerland, has been completed.

In this case the de-dusting unit is equipped with a Münstermann bag chamber filter system of type SK44/4.5m 111 R. Areas where cleaning and grinding are carried out, forming stations as well as silo sand coolers are de-dusted. This unit replaces a cyclone with a filter fitted downstream and achieves a residue dust content of < 10 mg/m³ in the extracted air.
