A special transfer car transports the curing trolleys automatically into the autoclaves or into the reaction area. They are capable of pushing the whole train of trolleys into the autoclave and unloading them. The aerated concrete blocks are cured under temperature and pressure in the autoclaves.
The transfer cars were specially designed and developed for this project:
- One of the transfer cars is fitted with a very fast drive system to guarantee a high cycle time.
- The protection of the transfer cars ensues from laser scanners so that any person in the vicinity of the platform is not endangered.
