Internship at Münstermann: Valerie Garzon Martinez and Christian Raestrup have made numerous contacts with Latin America over the past six months.

New customers in Latin America

Identifying key customers in Latin America, making calls to decision-makers in target companies, discussing local situations and projects - Valerie Garzon Martinez experienced many exciting and intense moments at Münstermann. Valerie comes from Colombia, studies International Business and completed a six-month internship in the company's sales and marketing team. "I was very excited when, for the first time, a real potential new customer was live on the phone," says Valerie about her internship.

Focus on chemical and building materials industries

Together with Christian Raestrup, who develops international contacts in important key industries at Münstermann, Valerie carried out specific sales missions for the company. Now, Münstermann has a detailed overview over the most important players in the chemical and building materials industries in Latin America and their essential applications of drying and heat treatment technology. Münstermann will pursue the goal of turning these promising opportunities into living projects.

Happy about good results

Flexibility and thorough preparation of the conversations and meetings are, according to Christian, key prerequisites for joyful and successful sales activities. "We at Münstermann want to listen carefully and find out what technical problems the companies are dealing with." The Münstermann team is impressed with the performance of the young colleague. Magdalena Münstermann, Coordination for Training and Corporate Social Responsibility: "Sales with its unplanned situations sometimes creates pressure and requires special empathy. Valerie mastered the tasks professionally and confidently."
