In this continuous flow dryer the ceramic honeycombed products are transported through the unit lying down. Along with the actual conveyor belt for the products (lower belt) a further belt (upper belt) is installed, which clamps the products to be dried together to prevent them moving about.

At the same time the upper belt acts as a additional seal. The drying process circulates convectively at a temperature of approx. 120 °C. The air is passed through the products horizontally. The heating occurs electrically.
