Award for its commitment to training

Training and development of the employees has especially high importance at Münstermann.

Even school-leavers, who perhaps in other companies have no possibility of a sound basic training, as for example pupils from secondary schools or special school for pupils with learning difficulties, receive a chance at Münstermann.

For according to Magdalena Münstermann, 'It does not always just depend on good grades'. In addition Magdalena Münstermann has also made it her business outside the workplace to give pupils an insight into different career paths during their time at school.

Out of this the highly regarded Telgter Model has arisen for cooperation between schools and business.

Magdalena Münstermann's special commitment to in-house company training at Münstermann was rewarded with three prizes within one week.

The Bertelsmann Foundation prize 'My good example' goes to Magdalena Münstermann and the Telgter Model

The Project 'School and Commerce' - the Telgter Model has managed to be one of the best three applications out of 130 applications from all over Germany. Since 2008 the Telgter Model has promoted the practical cooperation between schools and business organisations. Liz Mohn, Vice Chairman of the Bertelsmann Foundation, paid tribute to the winners and emphasised that this is an effective example of being active in business and at the same time supporting fellow human beings in the region. The WGZ Bank awards the 'Initiative Prize: North Rhine Westphalia' for the fourth time

The company Münstermann was honoured with the prize for its social commitment in North Rheine Westphalia and also especially for the Telgter Model, which was initiated by Magdalena Münstermann in 2008. "The prize winners not only stand for corporate success but they have also committed themselves in the long term to our society", stated Uwe Berghaus, Member of the Executive Board of the WGZ Bank.
