Telgte Model now has its own homepage
The Telgte Model, co-initiated by Münstermann, is now present with a practical training course and job exchange in the internet.
Networking of schools and industry
Under the slogan 'School and Industry – the Telgte Model' a project has been initiated by Münstermann in which schools can be active in companies and visa versa and where the networking of schools and industry can be begin for the pupils from the age of 11 years. The aim is to make an early interdisciplinary access of the pupils and teachers to companies possible so that the terms and chances of entry to different professions as a prerequisite for the choice of a career are made known to the age bracket 15-16 year olds.
Extension of the project
Now that after one year the Telgte Model has proved its worth very well and is to be extended. Further companies and schools are to be integrated into the project and the Telgte Model is to receive a communication platform in the internet. With the aid of a specially developed internet page the communication between schools and industry has been intensified in order to offer pupils concrete connections between knowledge acquired theoretically and its practical use: a positive precondition to motivation for learning.
