Optimised automation solutions

Thanks to its own department responsible for the development of the measurement and control technology, Münstermann can offer complete solutions to the market from one source. The measurement and control technology makes the connection between the product domains drying plants, materials handling technology and filter equipment. This combination results in the plant engineering and construction. Together with the customer and the internal specialist departments custom-made, procedural and logistic solutions are worked out according to the definition of a project. The result is the development of an automation concept.

From the working out of the so-called operational supplements in the case of standard solutions up to the making of detailed specifications and P&I diagrams in the case of complex demands, the whole scope of supply and services is specified by us. The department for measurement and control is responsibe for the basic engineering mentioned above, the construction of the switchgears, the development of SPS- and visualisation software up to the start of operation and the handing over to the customer.

Individual or as part of the whole concept

When developing the appropriate measurement and control concept, it makes no difference if it is the individual control of a single dryer or the integration of a whole Münstermann plant in a subordinate communication concept. Here, the demands on the measurement and control system are very different. When considering the control of a dryer, in the majority of cases the system can be optimally adjusted to the plant. However when thinking of the integration into a whole communication concept, often interfaces to different field bus systems have to be made.

The whole concept in our mind's eye

In the plant engineering, often process control systems are required for the co-ordination of the product flow and the product control. Hereby, it is necessary to integrate different maintenance groups into one control system. If desired, Münstermann assumes the execution of the project and the integration of these maintenance groups into the process control system.
