A small drier for copper bands

Apart from the large units Münstermann also offers special solutions for a limited range of uses which are more likely to be of a filigree nature. A new small drier for copper bands for W.C. Heraeus GmbH (http://www.wc-heraeus.com) is a typical example.

This unit concerns a metal band drier for copper bands. Metal band driers are generally one of the central competences of Münstermann. In the case of the drier for Heraeus it is, of course, a very much smaller model compared to the normal metal driers.

The unit dries two parallel copper bands which come wet out of the cleaning bath and after their drying, the strips are passed on for further processing. The band rate is rather slow and can be up to 5 metres/minute. Restricting rollers are integrated into the drier to guide the bands. The dimensions of the drier are as follows: 900 x 1,500 x 1,550mm (length x width x height).
