Drying plants
Conditioning chambers/conditioning flow-through units
These units are employed for the intermittent and continuous thermal treatment and the drying of a variety of materials. During the drying phase certain definite air conditions are to be maintained (air temperature, humidity), which will have a decisive effect on the quality of the finished product.
The newer units now operate continuously in fixed-cycles. More different zones can be arranged one after the other in which different air conditions per zone can be set. Between the zone there are sluices in which the climatic conditions in the chambers can be adjusted in series either before or after.
The drying chambers are, in the main, welded tight and are made of corrosion-free or stainless steel. It is also possible to make use of heat recovery systems. These can produce a relatively high humidity at low temperatures by means of air humidification system via special nozzles. (water and air pressure).
