Many of the uses appear exotic at first sight. Vulcanization units for condoms belong to this category. It is only at the second glance that one realises which high demands are placed on the heat treatment during the production of latex products to which such unspectacular things as gloves are to be included.

In the pharmaceutical industry in general and in the treatment of latex products especially great demands are made upon the processing safety, heat distribution, heat constancy in the unit and cleanliness. Units are therefore produced entirely from stainless steel for this branch.
